To cut an even longer story short, this hack wannabe tattoo artist misspelled my tattoo after the outline I checked twice was spelled correctly, apparently when he transferred to my skin the outline got a little messed up and he must not been very good at school or spelling and totally jacked it up. After a few more swear words and a mini temper tantrum of how he had to set up his station (even though 12 hours before in our consultation he would set up that night as I was first appt in morning) by this pint size little puerto rican. Once told he had an appt and I was waiting for 45 mins for him, he screamed out «Oh f*ck, i have a fu*king appt, sh#t I hate this» in front of myself and 4 others waiting in the shop. After 25 more mins this clown LEGION strolls in with a diva attitude. Finally one of his «workers» lets me know that his cell phone was dead (I didn’t know people over 14 let their cell phones die especially people running a business) and he would be there soon. Had an appointment, show up ten mins early, Legion not’s there. Also, I’m sure he won’t appreciate me posting an unfinished sleeve but… Still great :) And he takes very much pride in his work.

I wouldn’t care if he even WAS an asshole, this tattoo is on me for life. You’re not paying for conversation, you’re paying for art. Can’t speak for other experiences but, I like the guy, and his work is amazing. Hes very good at his work, very busy man, and personally I’ve gotta say I think he has an awesome personality once talking to him! I was scared to death to get a sleeve and he was SO light handed I can’t believe I sat for hours! He’s also applied hush (a numbing agent) and was very gentle whenever I expressed any areas of pain. I thought he was an asshole too at first but, he’s just a very forward person. No matter where I’ve been in the world, Croatia, Orlando, New York, Miami, London, it’s ALWAYS a compliment on how impressed they are. I get stopped at LEAST 3x a week about where I got my tattoo done. So, I’m not sure about all the bad comments about Legion or why anyone even would CARE about his attitude. This place is so chill, good energy and very clean! I definitely, would recommend this place to my friends and I’m looking forward to getting a tattoo here. Although, the navel doesn’t really change when gaining or losing weight.

From my understanding, he’s either a medical student or has a degree in the medical field, which made me feel even more comfortable about him and the healing process and how he was piercing my navel because of my weight loss journey. Suggested an exercise routine in case I wanted to try something different. He as well, agreed that it’s a great idea. When he was ready to pierce me, I asked Billy the same question, if I should wait til I hit my goal weight to get my navel pierced and that I wanted to use for that extra push in my journey. He was very chill, calm, super honest and super sweet. I meet Billy the piercer as he’s in the process of piercing Kelly’s nose. She was very sweet and thought, if I was using it for motivation, that it’s an awesome idea. Anyhow, I asked the woman at the front her thoughts about me getting my navel pierced. I wanted to get my navel pierced to promote more motivation for weight loss for me. Kelly wanted to get her nose pierced and as for me, I was indecisive, because I’m a thicker woman, going through a weight loss journey, lost weight and is still losing weight. One of my best friends, Kelly and I wanted to take advantage of the piercing special, Billy was running.
